What goes in a standard first aid kit?

Does anyone know what goes into a standard, generic, first aid kit? I need to refill the one at work- and they basically picked the wrong man for the job. Ideas?
I gave them the list of stuff you guys mentioned- I work at a hotel and the General Manager almost had a heart attack! Apparently, I was a lot more prepared then they had anticipated. At least of anyone DOES have a heart attack, I'll have enough supplies ready!

Public Comments

1. Antibiotic cream, gauze, bandaids, alcohol pads, aspirin, cotton balls, thermometer, cool/hot pack and medical tape.

2. gaws, hydrogen proxide, medical tape, band aids, water, and asprine.

3. Hard to come up with specifics. Where do you work? You can also buy a prefilled kit, but they are expensive and not very practicle. Some companies will sell the kit and train you on how to use the stuff, but then they keep coming back and replacing stuff and fleecing the companies they service. I was approached by a company to work for them and refused to do it. Try to avoid these people.
