does having an certification on physical therapy aid increase your salary?

i want to do a course in physical therapy aid its only like 8 weeks but is less than 600 bucks. i heard to be a physical therapy aid you dont have a certification so does it makes a difference?

1. I've yet to know any employer that takes the physical therapy aide certification seriously. For an almost minimum wage job, it just doesn't seem worth it.
