In California, if I have CPR and first aid certification, what size knives am I allowed to carry?

I got this training through my union carpentry school. I'm not on probation or parole.
I thought I read it on SOGKNIVES.COM that certain certs and professions like EMT's and firefighters could have knives that the regular public could not carry.

Public Comments

1. Why would CPR and first aid certification have anything to do with the size knife you can carry?????

2. California even allows the owning of knives? WOW!!!

Dude, get yourself a HUGE rambo style knife and wear it around on your belt.

3. Having a CPR cert has nothing to do with carrying knives... it doesn't give you any special rights, other than you know how to give CPR. Come on, are you serious? I have a license to carry a concealed firearm, can I work as a contractor? One has nothing to do with another.

Here are the knife laws in all the states, just scroll down until you find CA http://www.thehighroad.org/library/blades/knifelaws.html

4. What would a first aide certification have to do with being able to carry a knife?

5. Your CPR and first aid certification have nothing to do with what knives you can and cannot carry.
