How to get CPR and or first aid certification,etc?

I live in NJ and am in High School. I would like to be certified in CPR and First Aid and ANYTHING ELSE I CAN. How would I go about doing this? Again, beside first aid and CPR is there anything else that I can be certified in? Lastly, I do NOT want to be an EMT at all, I want to become a surgeon, but that is beside the point so just answer my question please.

1. Redcross is great for cerifications.

2. You may want to contact your local EMS/ Ambulance service. (Some towns don't have a Red Cross.) They may have CPR and First Aid classes. Good Luck!

3. The local Red Cross is your best bet.

4. Besides Red Cross and local EMTs, hospitals usually offer some sort of CPR/First Aid courses.
