First Aid Course Question?
If you have done a first aid course or Bronze medallion or something like that, and when a situation presents itself in which you have to save someone and you don't, can you get sued? Or say if you make a mistake and brake their ribs or something, can you get sued?

1. I think this deals with the Good Samaritan Law. I do not think you can get sued for not helping someone. Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good_Samaritan_law
2. You can't be sued for NOT doing something, but sadly you can be sued if you injure them while helping. Which is why alot of doctors anymore won't do anything to help someone while not at work. - This is just where I live though,
3. In first aid, the instructor told us that you have to tell them that you are trained in first aid and ask if they'd like your help and if they say yes, help them and if they're unable to give you an answer, there's an understood yes and they can't sue you for it.
4. seen the news lately- you can get sued for anything
