can someone tell me a little bit about the first aid course/skill?

how much is it?
how long is it?- is there like different parts cuz my friend finsh it in less then a month and i was wondering if there was a part 2?
anything i should be prepared for?
what not to do?
examples of what im gunna do at first aids

1. My sons completed the whole course of first aid and it was conducted by the Red Cross. The fee was very minimal considering membership in the Red Cross Youth is voluntary. Check it out in your nearest Red Cross Office. You can also try their swimming lesson.

2. Why just take a first aid course
if you want a good course take EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN -BASIC course it takes about 4 months.
then you can handle just about anything.
