first aid course for teenage babysitters, oneonta ny?

Where can a teenage boy get a first aid course in NY, Preferably , Oneonta area.
He is 14 and looking into doing babysitting for extra cash.
He is really good with kids.
But I will like him to get a first aid course, just in case somethinjg happens while he is babysitting and before the ambulance get there, he will be well equipped to handle minor situations.

1. This is a fantastic idea & I wish more parents thought of it. I'm not from your area, but I would suggest calling the local paramedic squad and/or hospital. I am sure either would be able to tell you about courses in your area. Your son could probably get certified.

2. Try a local fitness center. they usually have some kind of things like that.

3. Hi! The best place to get more information, is either The American Heart Association, or The Red Cross. Usually, they both offer CPR classes specifically for sitters. Check out their site, or call your local chapters.
