Where can I go for a free First Aid and CPR course (online)?

I am about 15 years old and am trying to get a certification for CPR and First Aid, but everywhere I go, I can take the test free and the certificate is what costs. I would like to know where I can go for a free certificate along with a free course. Thanks!

1. I don't think there is any place that will give you a certificate for free. Also, don't get it online. Try calling your local Red Cross or similar organization for an accredited organization.

2. Online CPR does you no good because you are not able to actually practice doing CPR. Go to the ARC or AHA and physically take the class. You will learn what you need to know. So what if you have to pay for it? Isn't that small fee worth saving someone's life?

3. While there are many fake certifications around, a REAL CPR certification means you have proven that you can perform the skills to national standards by doing them in front of a trained instructor who knows the standards.

I'm sorry, but there is no way to become legitimately certified for free, unless someone else is paying for the class.

Also, there is no on-line certification process that any employer I know of will accept.
