Is there anywhere I can take a free First Aid Course?

I was on the tube today a lady sat next to me had some sort of fit. I didn't know what to do and freaked out, I was no use to her at all. It upset me alot. I want to learn first aid so I know how to handle things like this. I cant afford to pay alot though.

1. Contact your local St. Johns Ambulance or Red cross. They will do courses that you can attend once a week.

3. i do it with st johns ambulance its with quite a few people and they are all friendly just once a week a £1 each time. really good and they even offer to pay for you to do first aid at work and can send you away to other courses. you also get certificate to prove that you have done it

4. Both the St John Ambulance and the Red Cross run First Aid courses, but the cheapest way to get First Aid training is if you are in employment. Some employers send staff to do the First Aid at Work course. Sometimes the employers give extra pay for you accepting the extra reponsibility .
