Is there another agency that conducts blood drives besides the American Red Cross?

Since they throw away gay blood, is there another agency that is more confident in their testing. Aids is transmitted by many other means than gay sex and there are many homosexuals living without the virus. We choose many different charitable organizations so why can't American's decide to whom they donate their blood?
