Disaster preparedness? F u have an "emergency box" what will u use as a box & what wil u store n it?

Waterproof box?any suggestions?
List foods that last long without the need for water?

1. Heh, living in Florida I have to too much in my hurricane box to list.

You should keep bleach though, because a few drops of that can purify water.

2. Some foods without the need for water: canned beans, chips, bottled water, canned peas, canned corn, tuna, canned peaches, canned pears, canned green beans, canned mushrooms, beef jerky, banana chips, peanuts, trail mix, etc.
