Emergency Preparedness Kit?

I have been watching a lot of Google Movies lately, like:

Endgame
zeitgeist
The Esoteric Agenda

(If You Know of More PLEASE Let Me Know)

I want to make a proper emergency kit for the house in case of a disaster. My problem lies in the amount of people and the brands of products to use.

6 Adults
2 Kids
1 Infant
And...
Next Door We Have MORE People:
3 Adults
3 Kids

I am looking for not just a LIST OF ITEMS NEEDED but AMOUNTS OF ITEMS NEEDED for the people in my home and the BRANDS that will work best being that things like Fluoride are already in many bottled products.

We have a location set up already that is off the grid but we need to pre stock it now. FOOD and WATER does not have to be your only suggestions. I am looking for long term items like BOOKS, MANUALS, GENERATORS, and MORE! Thanks in advance for all your help!!!

2. Take a set of Shakespeare's Plays, several copies of the Bible, a songbook , Scrabble, packs of cards, loads of writing paper and large notepads, pencils, pencil sharpener and a box of pens. I leave the choice of food to you.
