Where can I buy emergency preparedness kits for pets other than cats and dogs

I've checked several sites & none had kits for rabbits & ferrets & other rodents

Public Comments

1. i would make my own. check the dogs to see what they have, then add whatever is just for rodents.

2. I have never been able to find one either. I don't have traditional companion animals. I made mine. Mine are for reptiles, but you can alter it for small animals, Get some stuff together like:
Extra food (timothy hay, dried hay, etc. becaus it has a long expiration date), a collapsable habitat (just in case), I bought some of those air activated heat pads, they last forever and are cheap at walmart), water.
What I did was sat down and thought about what i use to take care of them in a week. What they need to survive (water, food, heat), then put all of that in a kit.

3. I would create my own, basing off of similar things found in the dog and cat kits.

Keep any medications and vet papers and numbers there too, along with a list of things each one is not supposed to ingest. (I found this helpful on several occasions since it's hard to remember everything.)
