How do i volunteer for Red Cross in Pune (i'm 17 years old)?

I want to spend the summer (july or august) volunteering with the red cross or any charity involved with AIDS awareness or cancer. How and where do I apply and will they take me?

1. You apply online to volunteer. I believe many chapters accept youth volunteers. You can use the online website to locate your local chapter. Do you mean Pune, India?

2. Yes, do not worry about your age, many Red Cross all over the world work with youth and they will need volunteers for sure, especially in India, Im not sure if you get the AIDS awareness as your first work, but you can prepare any your own project about that and offer it.......good luck

better go directly to the nearest red cross to ask for volunteering...also they could provide you information about others organization possibilities if they do not accept you, but do not worry about that.....
