How do I get a first aid and cpr certificate?

I need an American Red Cross Standard First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate for a job I am applying for.

1. Call your local red cross

2. i heard you can go to a fire dept?? not sure myself because i got my through school. you can also try the amercian red cross to see if they got any info or class in your area.

3. Depending on where you live there are many different places you can get certified, but the first thing I would to is check with your local fire depts. and see when they are doing there classes and see if you can get in on it. Many people I know including myself have used local fire dept.

5. go to the red cross website and find your local chapter to get certified, the classes can be held at hospitals and fire stations. The website will tell you where. Also the american heart association will get you certified if you live in the US. You can't be restricted on which company gives you your certification. where it be red cross or american heart association.

6. Go to redcross.org and type your zip code in to find your local red cross. Many times you can register for a class over the internet. A lot of community colleges and fire departments also offer classes. If you are in the Denver area I would be happy to get you certified
