What is the "Driver Frist Aid" certificate certified by Red Cross?

There seem to be various certifications provided by Red Cross and I am quite confused! Coz they all seem similar. My mom, however, obtained the so-called "Driver First Aid" certificate (but she doesn't do driving as her job or career, but a yoga teacher)!

I am just wondering is it the right certification for her, or does this certificate provide general knowledge of emergency handling? If so, why is it called "Driver"????

1. Red Cross does a lot of little different certifications under the same idea, but different names. I do believe that its called Driver first aid, so like...if your driving down a highway and see a car flip over you know how to help the people in the car until EMS personnel arrive. But theres all sorts of things to get through red cross all of which are very helpful when needed and helpful when it comes to dire situations. Being a Paramedic myself it helps to not have an absolute handful of dip ***** running around like chickens with their heads cut off.

2. The Highway Safety Council (or whatever it is called) offers a safety program for drivers who are the first on the scene, and some local Red Cross groups may be offering it- but the national program is not, as far as I know.

If you call your local Red Cross office, they should be able to help you figure out which class you need, or if you describe what you need, maybe we can help.
