Where can I get emergency food aid?

Lost my job more than a month ago. Unemployment compensation is under review. Determination may take longer than a week. No money. No food. I had a high paying job so it's not like my annual salary looks bad for food stamps. Any help for folks like me?

1. 1) It depends on where you live. Here in Ohio, you'd apply to one of a couple county agencies.

2) If you were making that much money before hand, you might be in trouble. Surely you must own some things that you can sell to get some short term cash? It's what the rest of us do when we're up against it.

2. your local food banks would be the place. try going and applying for food stamps you have no income you WILL get them.

4. sounds like you need to get yourself a brick and had down to the mini mart preferabley one owned by a indian and bust the window and take your time get what you need they owe us anyway

Go to the local food bank and they will help you there.Now you know you want getting high end food there but it will help you in this time of need.I have volunteered at a food bank here where I live and you want believe that people get mad because we don't have things like steak there but if you are really hungry they will help you I promise....
