Water is very important.

There are many dry meals if you have a way to heat water. Add water and heat. These can be found on grocery shelves.

The armed services have packages of foods that you shake and the meal is heated. I'm sorry I don't have an address as to where to buy these. Hopefully you will be able to find it on the internet.

3. Canned tuna.

4. Canned soup preferably vegetable soup
Canned fruits
Canned meat and fish

5. Nobody got the correct answer so far, I see. Water. You need water first and foremost, before anything else. You can only live about 3 days without drinking water. You can live 30 days without food.

Hands down, water is THE most important item to store.

For a second important food item, store beans and rice. Together beans and rice make a complete protein, which is essential for your good health.
