how to treat a severe eye injury such as a large cut without access to a medical facility.?

just so i don't get random questions instead of answers. i am simply a person paranoid about any possible disaster. for the most part i know basic first-aid, how to set bones, and basic sanitation to prevent infections. i even have my own disaster kit for, pretty much, any disaster. i find myself more worried about my eyes cause they have been bad since i was a kid but lately i wondered what i would do if i lost one or both and how to treat it in case of an emergency. i would like to know basic treatment on missing eye or an eye damaged beyond repair to minor cuts and abrasions, how to ensure it stays clean, and how to treat an infection.

1. I think you have acute paranoia disorder.

2. So if you have a first aid kit available there usually is an eye patch in it. Use that. Don`t try to do anything else other than to sooth and calm the "patient" If you don't have a first aid kit, just tell the "patient" to say calm and relax. Chances are if it was serious they are going to be in shock (due to the trauma) if you can you might try to give them a melatonin if you have it.
