Would I get sued for painting a first aid sign red on my shirt?
I'm a Medic for the ambulance, and I was told that only the Australian Red Cross and the Army are allowed to have their first aid signs RED, as it is only for them two. All other first aid signs are green. Well some are a white corss in a green background and vice versa. Would I get sued or in any trouble if I just paint a red cross on my shirt? as I have to be the Team Medic for a rugby team.

1. You can. The site is for the US but it would apply to Australia. I really doubt they would do anything but why not just use another color.
2. Think red cross & red crescent are copyright. Why not contact your National Society

You are already entitled to wear the St Johns Ambulance Uniform. A white cross on a green background is an international first aid symbol.
