If a job requires you to have a police check/first aid course completed...?

If a job requires you to have a police check/first aid course completed, but you haven't done these yet should you still apply anyways? Will they say it's okay and that you just you need to get those before you begin working?

1. The police check is done by the company once you have been offered a job. This job offer will be subject to you getting a satisfactory police check.

Regarding the first aid course, you need to have taken this and passed it before you try to apply for a job. You will not even get an interview without passing the first aid course.

There is a proviso to the above statement, in so far as, if the Company want you to take their 1st aid course, then yes apply for the job now.
