What should I put in my (small!!!) emergency first aid kit that I'll be taking on my cruise?

I'll be doing one week in the Mediterranean in May, and we will have daily stops in various ports in Italy, Greek Isles and Croatia.
As RoofingPrincess so wisely said, everything is available (which I knew) at a price (which I also knew). I can go a month with using a band-aid or a pain relief pill, but this stingy old Girl Scout wants to be prepared.

Public Comments

1. I take a c couple of band aids, some neosporin, and a sewing kit, that's it. The ship has everything else. Oh maybe take some sea sick pills if your prone to that sort of thing, but the ships has those too.

2. I have a quart ziplock that I take on my cruises.
It has a few bandaids, some Tylenol, PeptoBismol chewables (for upset tummy), Immodium (for diarrhea), and Bonine (for seasickness - and I've never needed it yet).
The shop on the ship probably has all of these things, but the prices are ridiculously high. My roomie on one cruise had a very low tolerance for alcohol. He drank one Long Island Iced Tea at sailaway, was still tipsy at dinner, and woke up the next morning with a hangover headache. The Tylenol he bought in the shop cost him more than the drink had!

3. I take a zipper-style plastic bag with a tube of triple antibiotic ointment, small bottle of aspirin, lots of bandaids, some antihistamine, some anti-diarrhea pills, and Pepto Bismol.

I also take a small sewing kit.

Don't forget plenty of sunscreen.

Have a wonderful trip!
