What would you include in an emergency kit if one day you needed to just grab it and run?

Kits as i just described go by a couple of names:

BOB'S
(Bug Out Bag)

EPK
(Emergency preparedness kits)

Survival Kit

What should be included in one or at least what would you include?

1. In my Bag, I have: a huge first-aid kit I put together, a change of clothes (extra panties and socks), lighters, a bag of dryer fluff compressed to start fires, a few emergency blankets (they come folded up small and look like tinfoil), 100$ in small bills and a gum tin full of change, a leatherman tool, two pocket knives, two forks, a toiletry kit for two (one male and one female), a box of tampons, a flashlight (LED), batteries, a notebook and several pens and pencils, a six-foot length of nylon rope, two quarts of drinking water and a small bottle of bleach (you can use it to disinfect water if you cant boil it), an assortment of baggies, chewing gum, two packs of cigarettes also in baggies, and a portable 'pharmacy' of sorts (more OTC and Rx meds in addition to what's in the first aid kit).
