First-aid/Survival Related Bible Stories?

I'm with a group running a Christian kids camp pretty soon, and the section of camp I'm working with is kind of like wilderness survival. We're already using John the Baptist and the 40 year Promised Land voyage in our lessons, but if there's anything else we could use that'd help a lot.

3. How about Noah's Flood! The whole world population drowned - that story could be useful

4. How about Elijah's time in the desert and how the angel prepared him for it? How God provided rest and food to strengthen him for his journey?

6. Why not use the Lords 40 day fast. It doesn't necessarily have to be food it could be something else. It could be a good lesson on fasting for the children. I think they would enjoy it. Include the temptations Jesus had to endure etc. You just need to change it up a bit. I don't know the ages of the children but for an example " Can you keep from eating this cookie ? Im sure you could think up a lot of things. They would have a great lesson to take through life with them. Crucify the flesh in other words. Hope I helped. Have a Blessed camping trip

If you were to provide a theme along with each example---
For instance,

Joseph saving from the 7 years of plenty for the 7 years of famine;
Example of Wisdom

The Prophet Jeremiah dropped into a well by the King's advisors, rescued
by the Ethiopian.
Example of Kindness

John the Baptist in the Wilderness
could be an example of
Resourcefulness

Israelites during the Exodus
could be Perserverance

Paul and the Shipwreck
Boldness

Gideon vs. the Moabites
Courage
