iam doing a first aid course which the duration is six wks are the any exams at the end of the course?

or is it just parctical all the way through the cousre my memory is terrible and iam not good in eaxm conditions can anybody help

1. Depending on who the training and examining body are you will be required to perform a practical test at the very least. A written, tick the box exam may also be included.

You have to prove that you have mastered CPR.

2. You will be assessed on your overall performance throughout and an individual practical exam at the end i.e. CPR or dealing with fractures, unconscious person etc. Bit nerve racking (they allow for it don't worry) and sure you will be OK. After all, you will be the person dealing with any situation when required so need to try and remain calm, if you panic in an emergency, people around you will panic too.
Just make notes during your course and read them in your spare time to keep things fresh in your mind, will also give you a chance to ask the tutor and other candidates to clarify anything you're uncertain of.
