Red Cross vs American Heart Association for First Aid CPR Infant Child Cert?

I need to be certified in First Aid and CPR for Infant and Children. I'm torn between Red Cross and American Heart Association. Anyone with opinions? I've learned that where ever you get your certificate from when using the AHA, you must recertify with them, these offices are privately owned. AHA doesn't have record of your certification. I didn't like that. AHA only provides certificate cards but no fullsize certificate. AHA classes seem shorter and they aren't required to give you a test. I know less about the Red Cross practices and would like to more.

Public Comments

1. Both courses about the same. No one at at level gets any paperwork other than a "card". You don't need any record or paperwork to recertify with either group, you just take the class again. You are making this far more difficult than it is.
