How long is CPR certification valid for? First Aid? Heimlich?

Anyone know? I took the course through the YMCA a few years back and am wondering if it is still valid. I also took a babysitting course at the same time, does that have an expiration date?

1. It might vary by State, but my CPR needs to be renewed every year and my first aid certification needs to be renewed every 2 years.
