going on a first aid course what to wear?

im going on a first aid course and wondering what to wear do i dress casual (jeans, etc) or smart (trousers, shirt + tie type of thing)

Public Comments

1. Ask the instructor, they each have their own idea of what they want worn by the students. I would guess kind of smart, not the tie but each instructor is different so it's best to ask the instructor.

2. When I did my course I wore loose fitting smart/casual clothes. You will be required to do hands on resuscitation so you need the loose fitting clothes to enable you to work on the floor.
Good luck. It's a great skill to have.

3. If it's just a CPR certification course or something along those lines, I can't see any reason you would need to dress up. Jeans and t-shirt is perfect. Something comfortable, definitely, since you might be working up a sweat! I've been trained as an EMT.
