Is it me? Why does It seem like the media is mainly focusing on the aid that the Red Cross and Doctors...?
without Borders is giving to Haiti now. It is good that they are their but many other charities has been there before the earthquake and are there now. Those two aren't the only organization.

1. True story.
2. I don't care.
3. they are as usual doing the most
they get in there an do the job, no stuffing around
4. Yes, there are many organizations there and that are helping in Haiti, but The Red Cross, for one, is the largest and best known humanitarian organization in the world and one of the most reliable places to send monetary donations.
5. I recommend that you provide some information on the aid groups that you are talking about.
6. There's got to be a conspiracy in there somewhere. Keep looking.
7. The media always focuses on right people. In this case, it's rich organisations. You've got a point. Personally, I think the US should take over Haiti and treat it as the US has treated Puerto Rico. The US hasn't done that mostly for racist reasons...lots of poor black people and nothing valuable to exploit there. Anyways, I would like the US to take over the country as would have been done 150 years ago in a situation like this. If the US took over Haitians would get help and opportunity in Haiti and in the US and even more democracy and the US would be able to resolve a mess that has lingered down there for centuries.
8. The Red Cross is the only disaster relief agency chartered by the US federal government specifically to relieve suffering in case of disaster. It is set up to be supported by public contributions.
It is a completely secular organization. Unlike many Christian relief agencies, it does not require a specific religious belief from either its volunteers or the people it helps. It has more than 100 years of experience, from war zones to local house fires.
Please read about how it is organized and what its charter is:
