Are there any free first aid courses in suffolk uk?

im trying to get a first aid certificate so i can be an appointed first aider at work but st johns ambulance charges nearly £300 for a course and im unemployed at the moment so thats a bit steep for me.

is there anything online i can do for free, or training sessions anywhere in suffolk please?

1. Why would you want a certificate for work if you are unemployed?
If you get a job usually the Employers pay for someone to get a first aid certificate, or like ourselves as owners we had one.

2. Yeah, if the work place where you get a job needs to have a first aidder, they will pay for the training.
