How Does the American Red Cross Work?

How does the American Red Cross Work? My husband is deployed and I'm very close to giving birth anytime now. When I go in to labor do I call American Red Cross so they can notify him? Also, how do I know if something bad happens? DOes American Red Cross notify me right away?

1. yes you just call the red cross they will get a message to him.. if something were to happen to him.. you will get a knock on the door..the red cross doesnt call you in that case
