what are the top 10-30 things you need to have in a first aid kit for dogs?

i need to make a first aid kit of my dog just in case of any accidents or emergencies such as earthquakes or breaking a leg or bleeding. of course ill take my dog to the vet right away, if she is hurt, but i want to be able to do something on my way to the vet. so im just wondering what are the top things you would absolutely necessarily need in a first aid kit for dogs.

1. Oh you're so cute!

You should read "Of Mice and Men" to learn how to take care of your pets.

2. Gauze sponges
Triple antibiotic ointment
Rubbing alcohol
Ear syringe
Ace self-adhering athletic bandage
White petroleum jelly (Vaseline or similar)
Eye wash
Sterile, non-adherent pads
Pepto Bismol tablets
Generic Benadryl capsules
Sterile stretch gauze bandage
Buffered aspirin
Dermicil hypoallergenic cloth tape
Hydrogen peroxide
Bandage scissors

3. Leash and collar, small blanket or beach towel, bottle of water, food bowl, dry and canned food, old clean towels and strips of material that can be tied, the Emergency Vets phone number with the directions on how to get there, also your regular vets phone number, small pillow (to prop up a hurt leg), shots records.

4. I have a first aid kit for my dogs too. It's not that different from what you need for humans. I have a pair of rubber gloves, peroxide, gauze pads, gauze rolls in 2 sizes. tweezers, cotton balls, swabs, low dose coated asprin (for pain, check with vet for proper dosing for your dog's size) the self adhesive medical tape. a collar for their neck to keep them from licking an injury and possibly making it worse, scissors, antibiotic ointment, always have a bottle of water, peptobismol tabs ( again check on dosage with the vet, this is good for upset bellies) This should just about do the trick. Ask your vet for any other suggestions.

5. *gauze(for padding or to cover a wound)
*saline solution(for flushing wounds or eyes)
*vet wrap( for splinting or compressing)
*tweezers (for removing ticks or splinters)
*triple antibiotic ointment ( for minor wounds)
*a magazine ( can be used as a splint in a pinch)
* cold pack/heating pad
*plenty of old towels
*peroxide (can be used to induce vomiting or to clean a wound)
*scissors
