What would you put in a first aid kit when you go on holiday?

I'm going on holiday Oct. 10 and I want to know the essential things you would put in a first aid kit

I would pack the following:

band-aids
neosporin
ibuprofen
latex gloves
burn gel
tweezers
prescription meds!

other useful things:
anti- diarrhea meds
tums/pepto
aloe - for sunburns
peroxide

2. i always take parcetamols, rennie tablets, and some sort of antceptic creams,, all the basic stuff . It can be bought over the counter when you get aborad however its always cheaper to take your own.. just bury it in your case.....

3. I'd put bandaids, first aid cream, tylenol, maybe some diarrhea tabs., pepto bizmol tabs, alcohol wipes.

4. Making a First Aid Kit:

First-aid manual
Disposable instant cold packs
Adhesive tape
Sterile gauze
Tweezers
Thermometer
Antiseptic wipes
Roll of elastic wrap
Sharp scissors
Hand sanitizer
Calamine lotion
Safety pins
Adhesive bandages in several sizes
Disposable latex gloves (at least 2 pairs)
Sterile eyewash, such as a saline solution
Hydrocortisone cream (1%)
Antiseptic solution (like hydrogen peroxide)
Antibiotic cream (triple-antibiotic ointment
(triple-antibiotic ointment)
Acetaminophen and ibuprofen
Suncreen
Mouthpiece for administering CPR
Emergency blanket

5. First aid kit:

Calpol sachets - pain relief for young children; plasters; Milk of Magnesia; Benadryl Allergy Relief - an antihistamine for adults; Piriton syrup - antihistamine for children; antiseptic wipes; antiseptic spray; After Bite - in pen form, for dabbing on mosquito bites; Diarolyte - for diarrhoea; Calamine lotion; Beechams Powder capsules; paracetamol.

Cuts and wounds: tea tree oil.

Irritated skin: zinc cream or aloe vera, and calamine lotion.

Prickly heat: nettle tea (for topical use) or tablets.

Sunburnt skin: aloe vera lotion, vitamin E oil or lavender oil.

Bruises, swelling or sprains: arnica cream or tablets.

Mild painkiller: White willow tablets.

Insect repellent: Citronella oil or lemon grass oil. Insect bites/stings: Lavender oil or pyrethrum tincture.

Travel sickness: Ginger oil or peppermint oil. Stomach upsets: Ginger root capsules or peppermint oil capsules.

Diarrhoea: Acidophilus tablets. Colds: Echinacea drops.

Antibiotics: as a preventative measure you may want to give your immune system a pre-holiday boost - about one week before you go away start taking acidophilus tablets or echinacea drops.
