CPR and First aid course?

I signed up for a Red Cross first aid, cpr, and aed course. The whole course is 8 hours. Does anybody know if those 8 hours include taking the certification tests? or will i have to take the certification tests on my own?

1. I think it includes the test because I did a similar course (8 hours) one Saturday and it included the certification test.

2. I doubt it if CPR is included. Ordinarily for basic CPR for first responders, the CPR is longer than 8 hours to certification (unless it's only a recert).

3. All testing is done during class. (And this is not automatically a First Responder class.)
