Upon a job offer, each Officer candidate must
11. Be able to complete and pass a psychological examination.
12. Must be able to successfully secure a Security Guard card issued by the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS).
13. Must be able to successfully complete the PC 832 (powers of arrest) course.
14. Must be able to successfully secure the appropriate BSIS certifications for the carry of pepper spray and baton (straight, side-handle and collapsible).
15. Must be able to successfully pass and complete an American Red Cross First aid/CPR and AED certification course.
16. Must be able to successfully pass and complete a Taser ECD certification course.
17. Each candidate must be at least 21 years of age by the date of hire.
I am pretty sure that they do not work with a large security company because they are a private university that deals on a personal level. So I don't know if they give you the training, send you somewhere, refer you somewhere, go on your own, or if I have to have those certification before or if I can go ahead and try and get them once they give me the job offer or if there post on the job on their website is the job offer.
