1. Your local Red Cross will be the best place to start. I got my through work and the teacher was from the Red Cross.
2. i took mine at a community college it takes a little longer then Red Cross or American Heart Association but they teach you way more for less
good luck
3. The Red Cross actually has a babysitting course. It teaches how to handle an emergency, as well as other babysitting skills. See the link below. I didn't see how much it costs, but that probably varies by location. Since it's aimed at 11-15 year-olds, I imagine the cost would be low.
4. Teddy.... I think your mom is one smart lady. If i were you i would have her contact the ambulance service in your area and see if they offer it, and if it has a fee. Some offer it free, some take donations, some will just plain help you. If not check with the Fire Station, and WMCA. Good Luck dear. I hope they do it for nothing as you are smart and doing something with your life. My daughter done a course in it, got certified for CPR, and a certificate to show she had completed a course. It taught ememrency situations, and how to handle diferent things. Steve
5. Red Cross, also try your local hospitals. In my small town we do them at here at the fire station. A lot of schools have after school classes every once in a while and you can get your certification there. Do Not get it online. All that card is saying is that you passed a test. You have to actually do it.
