Animal first aid...?

Sounds like a dumb question, but I am serious. I was wondering if anyone knows of any classes or books that teaches how to deal with injuries and emergencies to animals? I know the Red Cross has a class, but couldn't find any in my area. Also a book for aid to cats and dogs. I was looking for something applying to all animals in general if possible. Thanks.

1. Try calling you local vet. They might be able to point you in the right direction. I would look on Amazon.com for books on this subject.
