Need a "dummy" for a First Aid presentation...where could I get one?
Im doing a First Aid presentation for class and would like to use a dummy like they use in CPR/First Aid training courses. Is there anywhere I could get (or actually just borrow) one of these? I was thinking the Red Cross but theres not one close to my house. Any other ideas of where I could call and ask?

1. You can try a local fire department, police department, or any other agency that does CPR training, but don't expect them to eagerly give up a dummy even temporarily - they are extremely expensive. You might want to consider asking an EMT to assist you with your demonstration and help answer any questions the class might have. He or she could supply the dummy and then take it with them with the class is over.
2. Raye took my answer. Bummer. That's what I was going to say. It's a good idea tho.
3. St. John's Ambulance rents them out and there are also some private companies that rent them. Find Ambu in your phonebook and ask them for a referral. Ambu is the company that makes most of the EAR and CPR dummies.
