1. not too sure about widerness survival, but you can try st john ambulance for the first aid training... go to the SJAA (Association), the website i have listed is rather simple, hence you may call them up to find out more. think they should be able to provide you with better info since they know better
you can also try singapore red cross. the website has more info and seem more updated. go to 'courses'...
to add something on wilderness survival courses, though I never taken part in these courses, probably you can try singapore outward bound website (http://www.obs.pa.gov.sg/) think you need to contact them for the info
2. For first aid training, the SCDF offers free training as part of its community readiness scheme. Wilderness survival is a little trickier. Outward Bound offers more of camping expeditions to help foster teamwork and leadership as opposed to ''Wilderness Survival''.
I don't think there are any companies offering such courses in Singapore, but you may have luck with some Malaysian courses. Since you'll have to take a few days off wherever it is, Malaysia isn't a bad place to do it.
http://impressions.com.my/endau/survival.htm looks rather impressive, including lessons on survival kit items, how to start a fire, finding food in the wild, making/finding shelter, making rope from plants etc.
3. First, get yourself enlisted into Commando unit. They'll send you for basic jungle survival course, conducted by the Ranger cadres. They provide lodging and have a condusive learning environment. They even have a 'Survival village' inside the camp, where you'll get to slaughter chickens & frogs, among others, with your bare hands. The ranger cadres are also friendly & approachable... just stay away from them when you see them coming out of the specialist mass drunk/tipsy, at night.
