Is there a golf training aid that can improve keeping a right-hand players left-hand straight? This is my first year playing golf and I don't want to develop bad habits. I am a 25 handicap and I just learned how to pitch a ball although I can't yet control it's distance. Anyways, I can drive the ball 275 yards 6 times out of 18, so the potential is there at times. However, almost everyone I play w/ tells me that I am bending my left hand too much. Does anyone know of an aid or trick that can help me w/ this? Will lessons be useful or is it all mental? Has anyone heard of a dog training aid called Gencon? my cousin has one and its worked brilliantly to stop the dog pulling. But i was wondering if it has any bad points about it as iv have heard of the gentle leaders and halti's but some people say they can be to harsh of a correction for a dog and be cruel is this the same for the Gencon. Do match officials in football receive first-aid training? Looking at the Ramsey incident, it looks like Whelan's the only person on the pitch with any idea of the right things to do. Massive praise to him, of course, but ultimately the referee is in charge of the game, and I was surprised that the referee and other officials weren't supervising the care of Ramsey until the medical team reached him. How do I make a golf training aid? I took a lesson the other day and he had me swing a really long club to warm up. It looked like a shaft was pushed into another club so it would hit your side if you swung wrong. Is that what it really was? Can I make one of these with a training grip(grip with finger groves)?
