osha first aid kits Knowledge Base

Based on OSHA standards, what are the minimum contents that one should have in First-Aid kits? If it matters, the First-Aid kits will be installed inside plant greehouses where very mild chemicals, fertilizers, and sharp trimming tools are used. Occupancy is about 10 people at a time. (Only well informed answers please)
Per meeting OSHA standards our company took asprin and cold medicines out of our first aid kit.? Is it true that per OSHA requirements we can not have any pain or cold medications in our first aid kit? I think our company is just being cheap... If anyone knows of any facts of this and you have a link please post it. We are located in NJ. Thank you
29 CFR 1910 regulations concerning storing employee prescription medication in an occupational first aid kit? I have an employee who is asthmatic, and he's put a back-up inhaler in one of our First-Aid kits here at work, and I'm not comfortable with it since I can't find any regulations in regards to the legalities of it's storage there. It's not narcotic, and the prescription is well labeled for what it is and for who. It'll just be my luck that if there IS a regulation against it, OSHA will show up and find it. I've looked through the CFR 1910 under everything I can think of, and I can't seem to find any regulations concerning an employee storing his/her own prescription medication in a workplace First-Aid kit. Anyone got any ideas on where else I might further look for information? I work in a production facility, and that particular first-aid kit is behind locked doors in our first-aid room. It's only accessible to our "first responders", and no one would have access to it without trained supervision. Also, it's a "back-up" in case he forgets the one he carries with him all the time. He's one of our plant employees on the production line and doesn't actually have a space of his own.
OSHA violation? I cut myself on my desk at work. There were no band-aids in the first aid kit at work. Is this a violation that there was an empty first aid kit at work? Where can I find this on OSHA's violations?
are first aid kits required in all places of employment? my place of employment does not have a stocked first aid kit that is readily available to employees. Are there OSHA regulations that should require my employer to have one? My place of employment is a call center, if that matters any.
What should I call OSHA or begg for forgiveness???? Please help me figure this out? My girlfriend works for this small company that handles hazard materials. She has this asshole boss supervisor that treats her like crap and today she was complaining about a head ache from the fumes, so the supervisor tells her to leave and that she won't be getting paid for the rest of the day. So she goes and tells the owner of the company about her situation and the owner tells her to go ahead and take the rest of the day off and go see a doctor... She then tells me what happend and I guess I freaked out and went down to her job and asked the owner to watch the way they where treating her and to check the supervisors additude. They made it seem like I was out of place at first, I know I was... So I began to threatens them and told them that if they didn't take care of it I would call OSHA and make a complaint, everything chNged after that. It was like I had them shitting bricks.. I mentioned to them that they should also give her a raised and all this crap.... I just know I made things bad and I don't know how to fix it. I'm thinking the next excuse they have they will be firing my love one and she's gonna hate me. I don't know what I was thinking... But they don't have goggles earplugs eye wash or a proper first aid kit.. What should I do? I'm sorry for the poor grammer! Give me some good proffessional advise please.
